Disabling ABP on FilmOn

WWTV endorses disabling ABP only when subscribers visit the FilmOn website.  FilmOn is an affiliate of WWTV and powers our site's internet programming (including live-streamed. local feeds, Web TV,  and educational channels utilized by WeeWeb Kids (i.e. PBS, NASA TV and Sesame Street Podcasts).  Disabling FilmOn WILL NOT subject you or your device to any threat of malicious software.  There are no pop-ups on FilmOn; the site is supported by advertisement.  By enabling FO in settings, you will simply enable site-sponsored ads (a "Skip Ad" option is available ten seconds into these promotions). It's far less obtrusive than the three, thirty-second ads Hulu forces you to endure, and we hope 10secs will not discourage visitors from exploring some of the wonderful content streamed

by FilmOn.

Instructions for Disabling

Click on the arrow of the Adblock Plus icon in the toolbar to bring up the menu. There you have the option to disable/reenable Adblock Plus. You can simply press the middle mouse button on this icon too.  If you see no icon, go to "Tools" on your menu bar; scroll to AdBlock Plus and select "Disable on FilmOn.com"  Disabling will apply only to any website you deselect; all others will retain preset blocking options.
